David J. Piller

David J. Piller, 53, of Reading, passed away May 9, 2008 at Nags Head, N.C., were he was away on a fishing trip.

He was the husband of Carol R. (Halter) Piller.

Born in Cleveland Ohio, he was a son of Francis J. and Jean Louise (Stohlman) Piller, Lady Lake, FL.

David was employed by Exelon Corporation, Kennett Square for 13 years as an environmental Specialist.

He was a member of Lincoln Park United Methodist Church.

David served in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his daughter, Corina R. Piller, at home; and a brother, Stephen F. Piller, Toledo, OH.

Services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in Lincoln Park United Methodist Church, 1 Carlisle Ave. Reading, PA. 19609. Friends may call Tuesday 6 to 9 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. and Wednesday 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the church.
