David Brian Orth

David B. Orth, 62, passed away on November 18, 2021, at Reading Hospital.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late William J. Orth, Sr. and Thelma J. (Mitchell) Behler. David attended Schuylkill Valley High School and graduated from Wilson High School in 1977. He was employed as an auto mechanic by Mitchell's Service Station for many years.

David enjoyed auto racing and sports, especially football.

He is survived by his two daughters, Bridget Diordio (Bill) of Fleetwood, PA and Stephanie Vitalo of Shoemakersville; four grandchildren; brother, Mitchell P. Orth (Sandra), Norristown; sister-in-law, Marjorie Orth, Lewes, DE; uncle, Anthony N. Mitchell of Plainfield, NJ and five cousins: Joe, Tony, Chris, Kate, and Matthew.

David was predeceased by his brother, William J. Orth Jr.

Services will be held Monday, December 13, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave. West Reading, with interment to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
