David M. Morganti

David M. Morganti, 69, of Hamburg, passed away unexpectedly at Hershey Medical Center on September 13, 2023.

Born in West Reading, he was the son of Armando and Mafalda (Santarelli) Morganti.

Dave was a 1976 graduate of Moravian College where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in history. He was employed by Carpenter Technology as a mill worker until his retirement in 2019.

For Dave, sports were not just a hobby – they were a way of life. He was a proud coach of the Hamburg High School football team. Golfing with his friends was unequivocally his most cherished pastime. He traveled near and far to play the game. Florida and Myrtle Beach were some of his favorite destinations.

He is survived by his brother, Philip Morganti, husband of Robin; niece, Gina DeMaskey, wife of Christoph; and nephew, Steven Morganti, husband of Halie. He will also be missed by his girlfriend, Ann Sedlack Copeland.

Dave was predeceased by his sister, Louise Kaelin.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, September 22, 2023 at 10:00AM with a time of sharing beginning at 11:00AM at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 40 South Fourth Street Hamburg, PA 19526.
