David L. Fahnauer

David L. Fahnauer, 81, passed away unexpectedly on October 30, 2020 in his Laureldale residence.

He was a loving and devoted husband to Annabelle (Wanner) Fahnauer with whom he would have celebrated 60 years of marriage in January.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Carl and Helen (Larkin) Fahnauer.

David was a 1957 graduate of Wilson High School.

He was employed with the Reading Eagle Co. for years. David was best known for selling Ice Cream in the Muhlenberg, Leesport, Bernville and Reading Areas for over 37 years.

In addition to his wife, David is also survived by two children, Renee' Fahnauer, companion to Andrew Foreman, Reading; and Chris Fahnauer, companion to Linda Unger, York; three grandchildren, Joey Fahnauer, Muhlenberg Township, Brett Fahauer, Florida; and Alexa Pantelo, Florida; and one sister, Ruthie Mengle, Hamburg.

David was predeceased by his three siblings, Dorothy Knowles, Marie Reiger and Sonny Fahnauer.
