David Lee Hoppes

David Lee Hoppes, 57, of Oley, died March 29, 2014 in Golden Living Center, where he had been a resident for 2 days.

Born June 4, 1956 in Reading, he was a son of LeRoy Alvin and Clara May (Ford) Hoppes of Alsace Township.

He was a 1974 graduate of Oley High School.

David was employed as a printer for a number of years.

His pride and joy was his motorcycle, which he enjoyed rebuilding and taking rides on.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, is his brother, Barry Lee, husband of Linda L. (Falck) Hoppes of Lancaster.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., Oley is in charge of arrangements.
