David B. Heins

David B. Heins, 62, died January 20, 2011 in his Reading residence.

He was the husband of Ann L. (Dolan) Heins.

Born in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Roy L. and Claire (Rozelle) Heins.

David was a 1966 graduate of Reading High School.

He worked as a production control manager for 29 years for Reading Body Works; he then worked for The Reading Hospital and Medical Center as a lift team technician.

David was an avid sports fan and always supported Philadelphia teams.

He was a member of the U.S. National Guard.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three children: Kristin A., wife of William J. Walsh, Palmetto, FL; Kevin D. Heins, Shillington and Jared M. Heins, Shillington. He is also survived by his two brothers: Larry Heins, Muhlenberg Township and Bruce Heins, Reading. One granddaughter, Madeline A. Walsh also survives him.

A Memorial Service will be Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
