David Nathaniel "Red" Freeman, 73, passed away April 10, 2013 in his Temple residence.
He was the husband of Judy A. (Himmelberger) Freeman, whom he married 43 years ago on February 14, 1970.
Born in Kenhorst, he was a son of the late Marvin and Mary (Forlini) Freeman.
He was a truck driver for Windsor Service retiring in 2002; after his retirement he drove for Carl Dietrich trucking.
Red enjoyed driving stock cars, watching races, fishing, hunting and taking trips to the casinos. He was also an avid Phillies fan.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his sons: Todd Freeman, Bethel and Michael, husband of Ruthann Himmelberger, Leesport. Also surviving is his sister, Elva M., wife of Philip Rothermel, Fleetwood. Four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive him.
He was predeceased by his sister: Jeannette A. Rizzetto and his daughter Jeannette Flores.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Rd., Laureldale. A visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Gibraltar. Online condolences may be recorded at www.christfuneralhome.com.
