David Focht

David Michael Focht, 54, passed away on January 2, 2023, after a short but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of Audrey (Lynn) and the late Robert Morris Focht. He was the husband of Nicole Focht, married on August 2, 1997. Those left to treasure David's memory in addition to his mother and wife are his children: Chanel Smith, wife of Frank Smith, and Gia Focht; his brothers: Thomas Focht, husband of Lori Focht, and Robert Focht; as well as his four grandchildren: Isabella, Frankie, Audrey, and Lennon.

David attended Wyomissing Area School District and later Governor Mifflin High School. He spent many of his years working as a truck driver, a job he was very fond of. David was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, Harley Davidson bikes of course. He loved spending time on the road and would use any excuse to take his bikes out. Even leading up to his final days, if David felt okay, he was going to ride his bike. Almost equivalent to his passion for his bikes, David loved his tattoos and Pitbull dogs. Most of all, there was nothing David loved more than his family. To anyone who would listen he would talk about his wife and daughters and how proud he was of them and most recently his four grandchildren and their firecracker personalities. Dave also had a tremendous amount of love for his mother and two brothers. He felt like the luckiest man in the world to have all these people by his side during his final months here on Earth, and he wasn't afraid to speak openly about how blessed he felt.

A celebration of life will be held for David on Friday, January 12, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Inurnment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made toward funeral expenses. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc is honored to serve the Focht family.
