David Allen Leinbach

David Allen Leinbach, 60, of West Reading, passed away September 13, 2016, at the Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Sheri (Lesnik) Leinbach.

Born in West Reading, he was a son of Alfretta (Epler) Leinbach, Berks Heim, and the late Harry Leinbach.

He was employed by the West Reading Drug Store. David previously worked as an installer for Culligan.

David was a member of the Mt. Pleasant and West Reading Fire Companies.

He enjoyed watching Nascar, going to local sprint car races, and playing poker at the casinos. Earlier in his life he was a driver at the Reading Fairgrounds.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughter, Sabrina, wife of Tyler Rankin, Shillington; his sister, Judy, wife of Winston Simmons, West Reading; and two grandchildren: Ryan and Anthony. Two aunts, Florence Reeser and Fern Trievel; three nieces: Tammy Simmons, Lori Luckenbill, and Susan Sholl; one nephew, David Evans; and his beloved dog, Lucy, also survive him.

He was predeceased by his brother, Harry Leinbach.

Services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
