Darlene A. Gillett

Darlene A. Gillett, 57 of Hamburg died in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest on Sunday, January 31st, 2016. She was the wife of Edward N. Gillett, Jr. Darlene was born in Teaneck, NJ. and was the daughter of the late Bert J. and Rose P. (Pannone) Hilscher. She was a 1976 graduate of Teaneck High School. Darlene was last employed by Goodwill, Reading, PA. In addition to her husband, two sons survive her, Edward T. husband of Mary C. Gillett and Tyler M. Gillett both of Hamburg and a grandson Patrick Tyler Gillett. Seven brothers and sisters, Sharon wife of Ken West, Bert Hilscher, Mildred Hilscher, Steven Hilscher, Lorraine VonRudenborg and Jeffry husband of Myrna Hilscher and 10 nieces and nephews also survive Darlene. Her brother, Thomas (TJ) in 1977, predeceased Darlene. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 6th at 3:00 PM from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., 40 S. 4th Street, Hamburg, PA. 19526. A visitation with the family will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
