Danny L. Adkins

Danny L. Adkins, 76, passed away May 3, 2013 in his Reading residence.

His wife, Jeanette Adkins, died October 20, 2010.

Born in Midkiff, WV, he was the son of Mabel Adkins, East Liverpool, OH and the late Hallie Adkins.

Danny was an art director for Marvel & DC Comics. In 1995 he was voted top 100 artists of all time.

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

Danny was a faithful husband and a wonderful father. He was always there when his family needed him. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his son, Chris L., husband of Cathy A. Adkins, Herculaneum, MO. Also surviving are his siblings: Larry G., husband of Terry Adkins, East Liverpool, OH; Bonnie L., wife of David Hoppel, East Liverpool, OH and Lyle R., husband of Cassie Adkins, Wellsville, OH.
