Danielle B. Sedlis

Danielle (Dannie) B. Sedlis, of Wyomissing, passed away peacefully in her home from natural causes Saturday morning.

Born and raised in New York City, Dannie graduated from Boston University in 1972 and subsequently worked for apparel manufacturer David Crystal in its New York showrooms.

At Crystal, Dannie met her husband, Bill, and they were married in 1979. In 1982, the couple relocated to Berks County, where their daughter, Emily, was born.

Dannie established herself as a homemaker and developed a wide circle of friends who relied on her keen insights, emotional support and wonderful sense of humor.

Despite suffering from a myriad of illnesses over the last few years, Dannie continued to selflessly offer time and display interest in her family and friends around her, who will all miss her greatly.

She leaves her husband, Bill, Wyomissing; her daughter, Emily, New York City and her mother, Georgette Wlodawer of New York City.

A Memorial Service will be Tuesday at 3:30 p.m., with a visitation beginning at 3:00 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading.
