Danielle Moy

Danielle Moy, 9, of Boeshore Circle, Muhlenberg Township, was pronounced dead July 13 in Reading Hospital.

She was playing computer games with her friend Kayla, her brother D.J. and her sister Christine before becoming tired. She then laid down and passed away. Danielle went quietly and comfortably to God with her Guardian Angel.

Born September 6, 1992 in Norristown, she was a daughter of Daniel James and Su Xian (Ruan) Moy, with whom she resided.

Moy completed the third grade at Holy Guardian Angels Parochial School, Hyde Park, where she received first honors and won several math contests.

She also played the piano in a duet at the Fairgrounds Square Mall, Muhlenberg Township.

Danielle's favorite food was eggs. She wanted to be an artist, she also wanted a dog and planned to play soccer in the fall. She collected Pokemon cards, loved school, and loved to be in the library and read books. Danielle's intended confirmation name would have been Elizabeth. Her closest friend was her father.

Moy also is survived by a sister, Christine Su, and a brother, Daniel Justin, both at home.

Other survivors include her paternal grandmother, Sun Kum Moy, Philadelphia; and her maternal grandparents, Ting Cao and Li Mei (Zhang) Ruan, Philadelphia.

There also is her maternal great-grandmother, Fung Ha Chen, in China.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park. Viewing will be held Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the church. Burial will be in Valley Forge Gardens, King of Prussia, Montgomery County.
