Daniel A. Pepe

Daniel A. Pepe, 68, of South Heidelberg Township, died March 17, 2010 in Arden Courts Assisted Living, Allentown.

He was the husband of Marsha L. (Vickery) Pepe, whom he married April 27, 1963.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Joseph F. and Bertha L. (Bilski) Pepe.

Dan was a 1959 graduate of Reading Catholic High School.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Dan was a Senior Client Representative for Spotts, Stevens and McCoy Consulting Engineers retiring in 2005.

He was a volunteer fireman for 20 years for the Kenhorst Fire Company.

Dan enjoyed fishing, boating and spending time with his grandchildren. He especially enjoyed his vacation on the Outer Banks with his entire family in 2007.

He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather (Poggy).

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Michelle L., wife of Jeffrey Rockett, Lower Heidelberg Township and Daniel C., husband of Stephanie (Martin), Lancaster and five grandchildren: Alexandra, Julia and Laura Rockett, Max Pepe and Haley Gerovasilis. His sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda (Vickery) and Richard Curran, Spring Twp. also survive him.

He was predeceased by his sister, Patricia (Pepe) Hoffman.

Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
