Daniel M. Calvaresi

Daniel M. Calvaresi, Sr., 79, died August 12 at 8 a.m. in his Reading residence.

He was the husband of Madeline T. "Mickey" (Mirabella) Calvaresi.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late John A. and Marian (Langone) Calvaresi.

Daniel was employed as a clerk and later a supervisor for the U.S. Postal Service for 35 years retiring in 1982.

He was a graduate of Reading High School in 1948.

Daniel was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

He is survived by two daughters, Michele A. (Calvaresi) Rutolo, Spring Twp. and Denise A. (Calvaresi) Kosak, Exeter Twp. There are also three sisters, Pierina M. Calvaresi, Reading, Josephine M. (Calvaresi) Morabito, Jeffersonville and Elvira L. (Calvaresi) Russo, Cedar Grove, NJ.

Other survivors include 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.

He was predeceased by one son, Daniel M. Calvaresi, Jr. on March 24, 2004. One brother Anthony J. Calvaresi and one sister Ann Marie (Calvaresi) Alagia also predeceased him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 8 to 9:30 a.m. in Edward J.
