Daniel L. Boyer

Daniel L. Boyer, 82, formerly of Windsor Township, passed away peacefully in his sleep at Renaissance Home Pinebrook in Orwigsburg on March 22, 2025.

Danny, as he was often called, was the son of Ellen G. (Zettlemoyer) Boyer and Arlan Boyer, both formerly of Windsor Township.

Surviving is his wife, Bernice E. (Bagenstose) Boyer, also of Windsor Township, now residing at Seton Manor Nursing Home in Orwigsburg.

Danny and Bernice had no children, but other surviving family members include two nieces, Lynn A. Tschappat, of Blandon, and Tana K. Connolly, of Gilbertsville. He is also survived by a brother-in-law, Richard L., husband of Kimball A. Zerr, of Windsor Township.

Danny worked as an electrician for Randall R. Rentschler, Inc., of Hamburg, after graduating from Hamburg Area High School. He later went into the electrical business for himself, simply as Daniel L. Boyer, Electrician.

Danny enjoyed boating, fishing, classic cars, and racing. He loved going on fishing trips to Canada with his buddies. He could often be found at local car shows with his 56 T-Bird. He was a member of the Ontelaunee Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America in which he would help out during local car shows. He also loved watching NASCAR. He and his wife Bernice could often be found at Big Diamond Speedway in Schuylkill County on a Friday night.

Services will be private and burial will be in Zion's Cemetery, Perry Township, Berks County.
