Daniel H. Fisher

Daniel Howard Fisher, 85, of Greenfields, Bern Township, died February 10th at 7:40 am in ManorCare Health Services, Spring Township, where he had been since October 28, 2004.

He was the husband of Virginia B. Patton-Fisher, at home

Fisher was predeceased by his first wife, Alberta I. (Strouse) Fisher, who died January 1, 1981.

Born in Laureldale, he was a son of the late William and Annetta (Rothenberger) Fisher.

He worked for 14 years as a driver for Pepsi, Reading.

Fisher last worked as a grinder for 30 years at Carpenter Technology, Reading, before retiring in 1981.

He was an Army Veteran of WWII and received a purple heart and three bronze stars.

Fisher was a life member of Central Fire Company, Laureldale.

He is also survived by a step-daughter, Kathleen J. Patton, at home.

Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. No flowers please. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
