Daniel L. Fick

Daniel Luther "Sonny" Fick, 77, of Blandon, died April 21, 2007 at 12:40 am in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where he had been a patient since Friday.

He was the husband of Carolyn A.(Koffke) Fick, whom he married August 14, 1964.

Born September 27, 1929 in Blandon he was a son of the late Daniel Jeremiah and Mable (Rothermel) Fick.

He was a 1947 graduate of Muhlenberg High School and a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Daniel was a member of Maidencreek Church.

He was a self-employed accountant his whole life, retiring in 1994. He continued working part-time as an accountant for the last 13 years.

Daniel was a Army Veteran of the Korean War.

He was a past president of both the Fleetwood Rotary Club and the High Twelve Club.

Daniel was a 32nd Degree Mason with the Free and Accepted Masons, Huguenot Lodge, Kutztown.

He is also survived by two sisters, Nancy wife of Russell Delp of Blandon and Phyllis wife of David Wagenhurst of Fleetwood.

Other survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Services will be Thursday at 10:30 am in Maidencreek Church, 261 Main St., Blandon, PA 19510 with the Rev. Sara A. Hertzog officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services in the church. Burial will be in Maidencreek Cemetery, Blandon. Contributions may be made to the church at the above address. Walter R.
