Daniel H. Burkholder

Daniel H. Burkholder, 72, of Wyomissing, passed away, Wednesday, January 25, 2017, in Reading Hospital.

He was married to Linda S. (Hotzman) Burkholder, whom passed away, January 13, 2000.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Emery and Ethel (Hartline) Burkholder.

Daniel was a 1963 graduate of Ephrata High School.

He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Reading, where he was a former member of the church council.

Daniel was a U.S. Navy veteran.

He was employed as a plumber at Lincoln Plumbing, retiring in 2001.

Daniel was a member of Kenhorst Fire. Co., Mohnton Fish & Game, and a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by a son, Mark D., husband of Stephanie Burkholder, West Reading. One granddaughter, Hannah Burkholder also survives him.

A memorial service will be held, Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at 1 p.m., in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. Friends may call one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
