Damon D. Dzurkovich

Damon D. Dzurkovich, 54, of 536 Fritztown Road, Sinking Spring, Pa 19608 died March 17, 2002 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading at 1:30 a.m. where he had been a patient since March 8, 2002.

He was the husband of Carlene A. (Blessing) Dzurkovich at home.

Born in Reading he was the son of Yolanda A. (D'Ugo) Dzurkovich of Shillington and the late Joseph A. Dzurkovich Sr. who died in 1984.

Damon was the owner and operator of Philadelphia Heroes of Wyomissing for five years.

He is survived by a son Donovan D. of Lower Heidelberg Township and a daughter Lisa C. (Dzurkovich) wife of John Leisey of Muhlenberg Township.

He is also survived by a brother Jo Jo Dzurkovich of Shillington. He was also predeceased by a brother Vincent who died in 1980.

Damon is also survived by four granddaughters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, Reading. Viewing will be held in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale.
