Dallas Adam Lutz

Dallas Adam Lutz, 90, passed away January 13, 2025, in his Spring Township residence.

His wife Colleen Hiller (Kohl) Lutz, died on December 11, 2013, they marred on January 28, 1956.

Born in Cumru Township, he was a son of the late John Adam and Florence Beatrice (Holzman) Lutz.

He was a 1952 graduate of Wyomissing High School.

Dallas served our nation proudly and valiantly in the US Army.

Dallas dedicated 45 years of hard work to the family farm before retiring in 1992. Following his retirement, he took on a role as a truck driver for Agway in Leesport.

He participated in the Pagoda City Bottle Collectors Club, focusing on collecting Jim Beam bottles. Additionally, Dallas took pleasure in restoring furniture to its original beauty and organizing yard sales.

He is survived by two sons, Darrell A., husband of Dawn Lutz, and Brett P., husband of Mary J. Lutz, all of Spring Township; and two grandchildren: Desiree A. Lutz, and Dallas W.P. Lutz.

Dallas was predeceased by eight siblings: Warren Lutz, Dorothy Faude, Russell Lutz, Rita Mengel, Naomi Gutacker, Arthur J. Lutz, Melvin P. Lutz, and Wilbur F. Lutz.

Services will be Monday January 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A Viewing will be Monday from 10:00 am to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
