Dale J. Schell

Dale J. Schell Sr., 70, of Claire Drive, Exeter Township, died of natural causes Oct. 27 in Reading Hospital.

He was the wife of Jean G. (Rissmiller) Schell.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Paul and Valeria (Groh) Schell.

Schell was employed for 20 years by the Reading Parking Authority, retiring as maintenance supervisor in 1997.

He is also survived by two daughters, Deborah L. (Schell) Keffer, Cumru Township, and Donna M. (Schell) Farrell, Birdsboro; and three sons: Dale J. Jr., Kenhorst; Daniel R., West Lawn; and Donald J., Laureldale.

Other survivors include a brother, Ronald, Seattle, and a sister, Barbara (Schell) Vaughn, Brownsville, Ind.

There are also 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Schell was predeceased by a son, Paul B., in April 2000.

Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale. Viewing 12:30 p.m. until time of service. Rev. Mark Brophy officiating. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton.
