Dale W. Mitchell

Dale W. Mitchell, 81, of Cumru Township, died February 23, 2010 in The Reading Hosptial and Medical Center.

He was the husband of Bernadine A. (Kuzio) Mitchell whom he married Febraury 14, 1981.

Born October 2, 1928 in Quincy, Ohio, he was a son of the late William Milton and Monna (Dachenbach) Mitchell.

Dale was a 1946 graduate of Washington Township High School, Logan County, OH; a 1950 graduate of Ohio Northern University and a 1972 graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University where he received an MBA in marketing.

He was employed as a project manager with Design Service Company of New York from 1950-1956. He was also a Department Manager with Singer Company from 1956-1974 and was a department/project manager with Gilbert Associates from 1974-1988, retiring in November 1, 1988.

Dale was a member of Toastmasters International.

Dale was a member of Lincoln Park United Methodist Church.

Surviving are four daughters:Cheryle L. Mitchell of West Paterson, NJ; Lori A. (Mitchell) Gehret of Laureldale; Cathi S. (Mitchell) Conti of Little Falls, NJ; Juli M. (Mitchell) Pfautz of Laureldale; a step-daughter, Victoria A. (Blatt) Cahoe of Reading and a step-son Ronnie C. Blatt.

In addition, there is a brother Leo A. Mitchell of East Liberty, OH.

Other survivors include nine grandchildren.

Dale was predeceased by a son Michael D. Mitchell.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in Lincoln Park United Methodist Church, 1 Carlisle Avenue, Lincoln Park, PA 19609.
