The Rev. Cyrus W. Kreamer, 86, formerly of North Carolina, died Dec. 1 at 11:25 p.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient one day.
He was taken to the hospital from Outlook Pointe of Exeter Township.
He was the husband of June C. (Childs) Kreamer.
Born in Baltimore, he was a son of the late James and Bertha (Copper) Kreamer.
Kreamer was a Baptist minister in New Bern, Halifax and Rich Square, all in North Caroline; Milford, N.H.; and Bridgeton, N.J. His last position was as bi-vocational minister and juvenile probation counselor in Leonardtown, Md., before retiring in 1981.
He was a graduate of Harrison Chilhowee Baptist Academy, Seymour, Tenn.; Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, N.C.; and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary at Wake Forest.
Kreamer was a member of Forest Hills Baptist Church, Wilson, N.C.
He is also survived by two sons, Cyrus W., St. Louis, and Kenneth A., Richmond, Va.; and a daughter, Robin J. Kreamer, Oley.
Other survivors include a sister, Anna (Kreamer) Dabney, Joppa, Md.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be Dec. 12 at 11 a.m. in Forest Hills Church. Burial will be in Head Cemetery, Hooksett, N.H. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
