Cyril Pisanick

Cyril Pisanick, 88, West Reading, died August 9, 2015, in Spruce Manor.

His wife, Margaret A. "Peggy" Pisanick died in 2008.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late John and Katherine (Sarick) Pisanick.

He was a graduate of Reading High School.

Cyril was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during WWII.

He was a member of St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington.

Cyril was also a member of the National Association of Purchasing Management-Reading, Inc.

He enjoyed life to the fullest. Cyril was an avid traveler in his younger days; enjoyed golf and the Reading Phillies

Cyril was a devoted loving family man who will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by two children, Cyril J., husband of Teresa (Shepherd) Pisanick, Wyomissing and Denise Michele, wife of Kenneth P. Smith, Furlong, PA; his sister, Dorothy, wife of Michael Jurasinski, St. Lawrence; his grandson, Matthew Smith and two nieces, Cynthia Boyer and Christine Sanchez.

Cyril was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Pisanick.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. John Baptist de la Salle R.C. Church, 420 Holland St, Shillington, PA 19607. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Shillington. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: March of Dimes, 90 South Commerce Way suite 320 Bethlehem, PA 18017. Edward J.
