Cynthia M. (Brophy) Reifsnyder, 55, of Sinking Spring, passed away January 1, 2013, in the Reading Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, after fighting a courageous battle.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Virginia M. (Drey) Brophy, Pennside and the late James T. Brophy.
She was a graduate of Wyomissing High School in 1975.
Cindy was a teacher's aide for the Wilson School District and most recently for the Reading School District.
She was a dedicated mother, helpful sister, loving daughter, and caring friend. Cindy enjoyed playing with her grandchildren, cheering on Notre Dame football, watching baseball, and being around her family and friends.
In addition to her mother, Cindy is survived by her son Adam J. and his wife Heather L. Reifsnyder, her son Benjamin A. Reifsnyder, her daughter Amiee M. Reifsnyder, her grandchildren, Sarah A. Reifsnyder and Caira J. Stevenson, and her brother Thomas J., husband of Bonnie Brophy.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Friends may call Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private in Gethsemane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Reading Hospital Development for Stroke Unit, P.O.
