Cynthia Lockhart

Cynthia "Cindy" Lockhart, 78, of Reading, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2026, at Reading Hospital.

Born in Reading, she was the beloved daughter of the late Charlie and Rosabelle (Nelson) Lockhart.

Cindy dedicated 40 years of service to AT&T, where she worked as a technician. She took great pride in her work and was respected by her colleagues.

Above all, Cindy was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by two sons, Vincent Lockhart of Reading and Amery Lockhart of Pottstown. She cherished her role as grandmother to Andre, Aaliyah, Jaylen, Lexus, Avanti, and Jaelyn, and as great-grandmother to Dasiah, who brought her immense joy.

She is also survived by her siblings: Charlie Faye Hopkins, Randy Lockhart, Doris Branford, and Cheryl Lockhart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Lockhart.

Cindy was a strong and resilient woman whose love for her family was unwavering. She was an active and faithful member of the Spring Valley Church of God, where she found community, strength, and spiritual fulfillment.

She will be remembered for her kindness, her strength, and the deep love she had for her family.
