Cynthia A. Bohn

Cynthia A. (Gilbert) Bohn, 63, of Boyertown, died June 13, 2012.

She was the wife of Kermit E. Bohn.

Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late Emerson C. and Althea L. (Bassler) Gilbert.

She was a graduate of Conrad Weiser High School in 1967 and Temple University where she became a Certified Phlebotomist.

Cynthia was a phlebotomist for the Reading Hospital, Phoenixville Hospital PMSI: Pottstown Hospital and Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center, Wyomissing.

She was a member of Wyomissing Church of Brethren.

Cynthia was a social butterfly; she loved animals and talking on the phone and helping people.

She enjoyed reading and researching the history of her family.

Cynthia was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Andrew J. Bohn, Boyertown and Pamela G. Cruz, Richfield, PA; two sisters, Kathie L. Gilbert, Reading and Bonnie R., wife of Michael Chelius, Womelsdorf and two grandsons, Matthew Cruz and Nathan Cruz and her dog, Missy.

Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 9 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
