Curtis L. Frantz, Jr.

Curtis L. Frantz, Jr., 69, of Reading, died January 2, 2015 in the Reading Hospital.

Born in Pine Grove, he was the son of Mamie (Brown) Frantz, Pine Grove and the late Curtis L. Frantz, Sr.

Curtis graduated Pine Grove High School in 1963 and attended Penn State University and Harrisburg Area Community College.

He was a Project Engineer and owner of C. L. Frantz & Associates, Inc., Reading.

Curtis was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was also a pack leader of Cub Scout Troop #155.

He was a borough and township engineer for various municipalities in Berks and Schuylkill Counties.

He is survived by two children, David C. Frantz, Jeffersonville and Donna I., wife of Philip F. Harris III, Sinking Spring; his brother, Gary, husband of Jayne Frantz, Mifflintown; three grandchildren, Jourdan Harris, Derek Harris, and Darren Harris, and his former wife, Olwen Frantz, Reading.

Memorial Services will be Tuesday at 3 pm in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Friends may call Tuesday from 2 to 3 pm in the funeral home.
