Crale Michael "Mick" Baker, 58, of 8688 Route 183, Bethel, Pa 19507 died of natural causes June 24th at 9:17 p.m. in the Emergency Room at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
He was the husband of Fern Jeanette (Yessler) Baker.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late William L. and Marion M. (Bechtel) Baker.
He was a 1962 graduate of Wilson High School.
Baker worked in Inventory Control for 25 years at Black & Decker, Wyomissing, last working Tuesday.
He is also survived by two sons, Michael S. husband of Eedy (Cohen) Baker of Leesport and Corey A. husband of Rose (Rodriguez) Baker of Reading.
Other survivors include two step-sons; Gary A. Trythall of Mohnton and Glenn R. Trythall of Kenhorst and three step-daughters; Zedra A. (Trythall) Kipp of Honeybrook, Lancaster County, Theresa R. (Trythall) Heckler of Shillington and Sharon L. Trythall of Reading.
He is also survived by a sister, Sue (Baker) Graul of West Lawn and a brother, Kevin S. Baker of Doylestown, Montgomery County.
There are four grandchildren, nine step grandchildren and one step great grandson.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Cathy Jo Baker who died September 27, 1968.
Baker was also predeceased by two brothers, Barry W. Baker and Lance D. Baker.
Services will be Saturday 10:00 am in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Rev. William B. Fryer Jr. officiating. Viewing Friday evening 6:30 - 8:00 pm and Saturday 9:30 am until time of service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Cancer Society 498 Bellevue Avenue, Reading, Pa 19605.
