Cory B. Simons

Cory B. Simons, 21, of Wyomissing, passed away April 19, 2008 in the Reading Hospital.

He was the fiancé of Korri L. Burkert, Kutztown.

Cory was a son of David B. and Maryanne (Kemp) Simons, Sr. with whom he resided.

He was a 2004 graduate of Wyomissing Area High School and a 2006 graduate of The Automotive Training Center, Exton.

Cory was employed with East Penn Manufacturing Company, Lyons as a plate preparer and a member of the ice crew with the Reading Royals since 2005.

He is survived by his two brothers, David B. Simons, Jr., Muhlenberg Township and Tyler R. Simons who resides at home.

Other survivors include his maternal grandfather, Barney Kemp, Wyomissing, a paternal grandmother, Annabelle Bush, Hamburg; a paternal great grandmother, Virginia Simons, Wyomissing; and a paternal step-grandmother, Joyce Simons, Reading.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, 2810 St. Albans Dr., West Lawn, PA 19609. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
