Corinne D. Lewis

Corinne D. (Williams) Lewis, 85, formerly of West Reading, died June 12, 2012, in The Lutheran Home at Topton.

Her husband, Homer L. Lewis, died September 22, 2008.

Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late Alan and Hannah Esther (Labe) Williams.

She was a 1945 graduate of West Reading High School.

Corinne was employed as a bookkeeper for six years by Pottieger Company, West Reading. She was married on April 24, 1948 and went on to raise her children. Corinne was devoted to her family and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, she will be deeply missed.

She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Reading.

Corinne enjoyed cooking and baking.

She is survived by her two daughters, Karen L., wife of Ronald D. Wagner, Boyertown and Debra L., wife of Thomas W. Yager, Huntingdon Valley. Her sister, Esther S. Stump, Shillington and her two grandchildren, Daniel W. Yager and Lauren E. Yager also survive her.

Corinne was predeceased by her son Jeffrey A. Lewis and three siblings, Edward V. Williams, Ruth V. Schmehl and Alan T. Williams.

Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
