Cora E. Allushuski, 93, previously of Wernersville, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2026, in the care of Reading Hospital. She was the widow of William J. Allushuski, who passed away on August 21, 2021.

Born in Pottsville to the late Clark and Mary (Motto) Sausser, Cora graduated from Cressona High School in 1952.

Cora worked for many years in retail for Boscov's West and then as retail manager for Things Remembered at the Berkshire Mall. She kept a part-time job there into her 70's, finally retiring in the early 2000's.

She flourished during her time as a resident of Keystone Villa at Fleetwood, participating in the book club, chime choir and as a Resident Ambassador. She loved socializing and going on excursions with other residents. Cora thrived in social settings and enjoyed people-watching.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially during holidays, picnics, visits to the cottage, and her yearly trips to Daytona Beach.

Cora participated in a card club for over 40 years. She was a member of The Reading Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.

Left to treasure her memory are her children, Donald Miller, husband of Lynn, of Hanover, and Stephanie Muthard, wife of Carl, of Kutztown; her grandchildren, Elana (Nick) Kipe, Aaron (Alyssa) Miller, Erica (Peter) Lynch, and Collin Muthard; and her great grandchildren, Caleb, Owen, and Jesse. Cora is also survived by her niece, Valerie Fish, as well as other extended family.

In addition to her husband, Bill, and her parents, Cora was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Wenrich; brothers, Stephen and John Sausser; and her step-son, Bryan Allushuski.
