Constance Kline

Constance Claire (Strickler) Kline, 78, passed away October 1, 2012, in her Temple residence.

Born August 5, 1934 in Sinking Spring, she was a daughter of the late Chester P. and Cora Sadie (Bingaman) Strickler.

She was a 1952 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

Constance was employed as a customer service manager with Bell Telephone for many years.

She was an active member of Rosedale United Church of Christ, Laureldale.

Constance enjoyed cooking, baking, crafting, watching movies, reading, watching football, and was a nature lover.

Surviving are two sisters; Claudette C., wife of Gerald K. Pannabecker, Temple and Carolee C. Dugan, Laureldale.

Other survivors include three nieces: Jennifer Irwin, Laureldale; Diane Horning, Bern Township and Holly Sikora, Sicklerville, NJ and a nephew, Randy Strickler, Spring Township.

In addition there are several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Constance was predeceased by a brother, Chester C. Strickler and two nieces, Deborah A. Strickler and Kathleen Dugan.

Services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Rd, Laureldale. A viewing will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park, Exeter Township.

In lieu of flowers, contributions my be made to: Rosedale U.C.C. 1301 Bellevue Avenue, Reading, PA 19605 and/or Berks Women in Crisis, 255 Chestnut St Reading, PA 19602.
