Conrad Joseph Kornoski

Conrad Joseph Kornoski, 74, of Laureldale, died August 20, 2010 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

He was the husband of Elizabeth Louise (Pellicciotti) Kornoski, whom he married November 25, 1961.

Born February 8, 1936 in Glen Lyon, PA, he was a the son of the late Joseph and Celia (Ladishak) Kornoski.

Conrad was a 1954 graduate of Newport Township High School and a 1958 graduate of The Citadel Military College of South Carolina.

He was employed in purchasing with Western Electric/AT&T/Lucent for 35 years, retiring in 1995.

Conrad was a member of Holy Guardian Angels R.C. Church, Hyde Park.

He was also a member of Pioneers, Reading and enjoyed golfing and Notre Dame Football.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, is a son, Joseph Conrad Kornoski of Laureldale.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in Holy Guardian Angels R.C. Church, 3121 Kutztown Road, Hyde Park. A viewing will be held from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. Entombment will be in Chapel of St. George, Gethsemane Mausoleum.
