Concetta F. Frangipane

Concetta F. (Meloni) Frangipane, 88, of Wyomissing, died March 19, 2010 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was the wife of Leo G. Frangipane, Sr., who died in 1998.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on January 11, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Milici) Meloni.

She was a 1939 graduate of South Philadelphia High School.

Concetta was a member of St. John the Baptist de La Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington.

She was employed for 15 years as a tax examiner with the Internal Revenue Service of Philadelphia, retiring in 1983.

Concetta is survived by two sons: Leo G. Jr., husband of Cheryl V. Frangipane, of Elijay, GA and William L. of Horsham, Montgomery County.

Other survivors include four grandchildren: Amy, Karen, Laura and Matthew as well as two great-grandchildren: Kendall and J.P.

She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Ann M. Frangipane and her two brothers: Michael A. Meloni and Salvatore Meloni.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 am in St. John the Baptist de La Salle Roman Catholic Church, 420 Holland Street Shillington, PA 19607. A viewing will be held one hour prior to Mass in the Church. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Garden Mausoleum, Yeadon, PA.
