Colleen J. Speck

Colleen J. Speck, 54, passed away January 15, 2012 in her Mohnton residence.

She was the wife of Matthew M. Speck.

Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of Jean (VanGordon) Brice, Reading and the late Thomas Brice.

She was a graduate of Holy Name High School and Alvernia University.

Colleen worked for Maier's Bakery, Reading, for over 26 years as an accountant and for the past year she has been an Avon representative.

She attended St. John Baptist de la Salle R.C. Church, Shillington.

Colleen was an active volunteer in the community. She was a loving wife and mother and will be dearly missed.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her son, Chris M. White, Wheaton, IL and her brother, Brian, fiancé of Terry Stevens, Philadelphia. She will be missed by her three kitties: Beau, Buster and Bleu.

A Memorial Service will be Friday at 2 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m. in the funeral home.
