Colleen Krupa

Colleen Krupa, 80, of Wyomissing, passed away July 28, 2016, at the Reading Hospital.

She was the wife of Stephen A. Krupa, Jr.

Born in Portland, OR, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Rhea (Corcoran) Baum.

She was a graduate of Oregon State University.

Colleen was employed by the Wyomissing Area High School as a secretary to the Librarian.

She was an active member and volunteer of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

Colleen was a member and chairperson of the Sunshine Committee of the Newcomers' Club of Greater Reading.

She was a wonderful, dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children: Mark J. Krupa, Osteen, FL; Ronald S., husband of Paula Krupa, Bradenton, FL; Susan M., wife of Ned Kotula, Wyomissing; and Eric R., husband of Melissa Krupa, Safety Harbor, FL; one brother, Greg H., husband of Nita Baum, Portland, OR; and eight grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, August 12, 2016, at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart R. C. Church, 701 Franklin St., West Reading. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call Thursday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading.
