Clifton J. Dors

Clifton James Dors, III, 65, of Maidencreek Township, died September 16, 2012 in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township.

Born February 13, 1947 in Poughkeepsie, NY, he was a son of the late Clifton J., Jr. and Shirley (Warren) Dors.

Cliff was a 1966 graduate of Poughkeepsie High School.

He was employed in production control with Alfa Laval and after retirement worked in maintenance with The MNM Group.

He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.

Cliff was a huge New York sports fan and loved going to Army football games.

He was an avid golfer and loved to help anyone in need.

Cliff loved his family and was loved by all. He always had a huge smile on his face that reached his bright blue eyes. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Surviving are his two children: James C., husband of Sandra L. Dors of Quakertown and Colleen M., wife of Robert Hornbuckle of Maidencreek Township.

Other survivors include three siblings: Bruce, husband of Mary Beth Britt Dors; Vincent, husband of Kathi Dors and Vicki, wife of Alexander W. Hosier and several nieces and nephews.

There are also two grandchildren surviving: Alexis S. and Cole R. Hornbuckle.
