Clemens C. Stacherski, 87, of Spring Twp., died November 13, 2007 in the Reading Hospital.
He was the husband of Geraldine E. (Ciarlone) Stacherski.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Stanley and Constance (Szymborski) Stacherski.
He was a tire builder for 33 years for Firestone Tire and Rubber Co., Pottstown and retired from Occidental Petroleum, Co., where he was employed for two years, in 1982.
Mr. Stacherski was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading, where he served as an usher.
He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Clemens was an amateur boxer at the Reading Armory. He loved boxing, golf and baseball. He was also a life member of the West Wyomissing Fire Co. and the West Lawn Quoiting Club.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three sons, Gregory C. husband of Daryl, Warsaw, MO, Jeffrey D. husband of Karen, Kernersville, NC and Eric L., Lincoln Park; and two daughters, Kathleen L. Stacherski, West Lawn and Jeryl A. (Stacherski) wife of Chris Papada, Wyomissing Hills. There is also one surviving sibling, Frances (Stacherski) Steger, Berks Heim. Six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren also survive him.
A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Gethsemane Chapel. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Church P.O. Box 6217 Wyomissing, PA 19610. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com
