Claude E. Kline

Claude E. Kline, Jr., 63, of Tilden Township, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021, in Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital, Orwigsburg.

He was the beloved husband of Carol A. (Burkert) Kline.

Born in Fleetwood, he was the son of the late Claude E., Sr., and Patricia Ann (Quillman) Kline.

Claude worked as a material handler at various places for most of his life.

He was an awesome father, great brother, and uncle.

Claude was always willing to help anyone and will certainly be missed.

In addition to his wife Carol, he is survived by four children: Michael C. Kline, Tilden Twp.; Autumn J. Kline, Orwigsburg; Sarah Gallagher; Claude E. Kline, III; and a step-daughter, Nicole Burkert, Hamburg. Four siblings: Dawn Schmehl, Fleetwood; Robin L., wife of J.T. Angle, Denver, PA; Rodney S., husband of Shelly Reed, Fleetwood; and Regina H. Burns, Robesonia; and many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren also survive him.

Claude was predeceased by his step-father, Charles Franklin Reed.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 30, 2021, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, 40 South 4th Street, Hamburg. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
