Clarence W. Schwartz

Clarence W. Schwartz, 81, of Mount Penn, died Friday in his residence.

He was predeceased by his wife, Alberta A. (Schaeffer) Schwartz.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Clarence A.J. and Clara (Mitchell) Schwartz.

He was a warehouse worker at Wetterau Foods for 24 years, retiring in 1989.

Surviving are two step-sons; A. David Hartenstine, Lincoln Park, NJ., and Donald G. Hartenstine, Mount Penn.

Other survivors include two brothers; Walter E. Schwartz, Danville, VA. and Elwood V. Schwartz, East Cocalico Township; six step-granchildren and 5 step great grandchildren.

Services will be Monday 11 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. West Reading. Entombment will be in Forest Hills Mausoleum, Exeter. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. www.kuhnfuneralhome.com
