Clarence Dale Magnuson

C. Dale Magnuson, 94, of Wyomissing, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023, at the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of L. Kaye (Greene) Magnuson, whom on May 3, he would have cherished for 65 wonderful years.

Born in Chicago, IL, he was the only child of the late Carl W. and Gunberg H. (Tiderman) Magnuson. Dale graduated in 1945 from Tilden Technical High School and served honorably in the U.S. Navy during WWII as an Electronic Technical Mate. He graduated in 1951 from the University of Illinois where he joined the Theta Xi Fraternity. He worked for General Electric for 11 years before spending 19 years with Beryllium Corporation, retiring in 1987 as the Corporate Personnel Manager.

Dale was a loving family man whose greatest joy was having his large family gathered together. He loved travel and history, and he even visited all 50 United States. His trip of a lifetime was to his family's homestead in Sweden.

Left to treasure his memory are his wife, Kaye; daughters: Sandra Sigal (Andy), Exeter; Janet Norbury, NJ; Barbara Adams (Gordon), NJ; Pamela Ellis (Joe), Lake Wynonah; and Linda Magnuson (Lou), FL; 16 grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

A private Committal Service with Military Honors will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
