Clarence H. Ching

Clarence H. "Chuck" Ching, 73, of Wyomissing died November 26, 2006 at 11:43 a.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been since November 17.

He was the husband of Carolyn S. (Walker) Ching.

He was born in Saskatchewan, Canada September 13, 1933, the son of the late William and Mabel (Tracy) Ching.

Mr. Ching was employed by the VF Corporation as MIS Director at VF Factory Outlet retiring in 1996.

He served in the Air Force from 1957 through 1961.

Chuck was a Trustee at the West Wyomissing Fire Company for the past 9 years.

Other survivors include one son Chuck Ching, Jr., Blue Ridge, VA and one daughter Vickie Ching, San Antonio, TX. He is also survived by one step-son, Douglas Simonton, West Reading and 3 step-daughters, Sandra (Simonton) Torres, Oceanside, CA, Susan (Simonton) Serhan, Flying Hills and Sharon (Simonton) Gehr, Wyomissing. There are three brothers and three sisters, all of whom live in Canada. Two grandchildren and eight step-grandchildren also survive him. He was predeceased by one daughter, Tracy Ching in 2005.
