Clarence R. Budden

Clarence R. "Clancy" Budden, 81 of Hamburg died in his residence January 8, 2014. He was the husband of Loretta A. (Yeager) Budden to whom he was married to for sixty years. Clarence was born in Hamburg and was the son of the late Morris and Esther (Delong) Budden. He worked for 28 years as a machinist for Car-Tech retiring in 1994. He attended Zion's Church, Windsor Castle. He was a former member of the Pennsylvania National Guard, Hamburg Jaycees and the Keystone Social Club. In addition to his wife, Clarence is survived by 1 son: Christopher J. Budden, Hamburg, 2 sisters: Fern Shollenberger, Hamburg and Catherine L. Eyer, Molino and several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by a son David in 1970 and a sister Hazel Budden. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 13th at 1:00 PM from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc. Hamburg. A viewing will be held Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and again on Monday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
