Clarence W. Aulenbach

Clarence William "Spider" Aulenbach, 79, of Laureldale died of natural causes March 2nd at 6:42 pm in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where had been since earlier that day.

He was a husband of Barbara Ann (Koch) Aulenbach.

Born in Laureldale, he was a son of the late Charles I. Aulenbach and Dorothy M. (Sutter) Aulenbach-Kline. He was also predeceased by his step-father, Milton Kline.

Aulenbach was an Army Veteran of WWII.

He was employed 37 years in the maintenance department at Bachman Bakery, Muhlenberg Twp, retiring in 1988.

Aulenbach was also survived by two sons, Charles W. of Northmont and Michael S. of West Brunswick Township.

Other survivors include a half-sister, Mildred (Kline) Koller of Leesport and four grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a half-brother, Robert Kline.

Services will be Monday 3:30 pm in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
