Clara R. Mclaughlin

Clara R. McLaughlin, 84, of Shillington, died of natural causes January 3rd at 4:30pm in the Mifflin Center, where she had been since December 12th.

She was the widow of Leo V. McLaughlin.

Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late John F. Stajkowski and Catherine(Balon) Stajkowski.

McLaughlin was employed for 30 years, as a Supervisor at Maier's Bakery, Reading, before retiring in 1976.

She was a lifetime member of the Overbrook Laidies Auxilliary.

She is survived by one son, Vincent L., Reading, one daughter, Rosemary (McLaughlin)Breneman, Reading, and two sisters, Hyacinth (Stajkowski)Guard, Exeter Twp., Gloria(Stajkowski)Krouse, Ft. Myers Fl.

There are also 6 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9 a.m. in Gethsemane Chapel. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society 498 Belleuve Ave. Reading Pa. 19605
