Claire Rae (Longenecker) Morin, 75, passed away peacefully, September 22, 2012 in her Wyomissing residence.
Born in Sinking Spring, she was one of four daughters of the late Elmer J. and Hilda Mae (Noll) Longenecker.
She was a 1955 graduate of Wilson High School.
Claire worked as a merchandiser for almost 30 years for F.W. Woolworth Company, Reading until her retirement in 1997.
She was a member of St. John's Reformed Church of Sinking Spring.
Claire was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Her family meant the world to her and she loved taking care of them. She had a warm bright smile and an amazing laugh. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her two children: Lori A., wife of Stanley English, Jr., Sinking Spring and Gregg L., husband of Timeri Morin, Shillington. Also surviving are her three sisters: Doris, wife of Karl Yochum, Myerstown; Lucille Kuser, Shillington and Joan, wife of William Brown, Shillington and her former husband, Frank F. Morin, Gilbert, AZ. Four grandchildren, whom she loved so much, Stanley, III; Nicole; Raelynn and Danielle also survive her.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
