Clair L. "Dutch" Schwartz, 69, West Reading, died April 21 at 1:05 p.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient since April 20.
He was the husband of Gloria A. (Ciervo) Schwartz.
Born in Shillington, he was a son of the late Carl and Agnes (Robinski) Schwartz.
Schwartz had been employed for 42 years as a carpenter by Frank Atamare Co., Philadelphia, retiring in 1999.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.
Schwartz was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is also survived by a daughter, Selene A. Schwartz, Reading; a stepson, Richard R. Beuscher, Reading; and a stepdaughter, Vicki Lynn (Beuscher) Weinman, Mohrsville.
Other survivors include two sisters, Romaine Schwartz, Reading, and Lucille (Schwartz) Schappelle, Leesport.
There are also four grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Graveside services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
