Clair Daniel Hasker, 75, passed away November 8, 2012, at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
He was the husband of Deborah "Deb" (De Angelo) Hasker, whom he married July 26, 1986. Born October 2, 1937 in Laureldale, he was the son of the late William R. and Mable E. (Schrack) Hasker.
Clair was employed as a mechanic with Hershey Food Corporation for 19 years, retiring in August of 2003.
He received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Navy, where he served from 1957 thru 1961.
Clair enjoyed crossword puzzles, NASCAR, the Philadelphia Eagles, working with his hands, spending time with his family, and his golden retriever, Barney.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two daughters: Stephanie, wife of Anthony Williams of Muhlenberg; and JoLynn Faller of Muhlenberg. Other survivors include a brother, George, husband of Jackie Hasker, Temple. Four grandchildren: Taylor, Morgan, Conor, and Summer. Several nieces and nephews also survive him.
Clair was predeceased by a son, Eric, husband of Justine Hasker, Muhlenberg a brother Harold, husband of Ruth Hasker, Muhlenberg and a sister Mary Hasker of Sinking Spring.
Services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Rd, Laureldale. A viewing will be held from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery
